A mid 20th century French folding Péniche boat table, a "Butler's Tray" type table. The folding, oval mahogany tray-top is fitted with sturdy brass hinges and, like a tray, it lifts off the elegantly turned and folding "X" shaped base. Area of Paris, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age. Requiring cleaning and polishing.

Dimensions: Height 56 cm, 81 x 55 cm opening to 103 x 77 cm.
