A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, Parisian quality gilt mantle mirror of simple, Neoclassical design. Designed to hang above a fireplace, the frame retains its original gold leaf finish and is decorated with Neoclassical stepped corners and with paterae, 'string-of-pearls' and 'acanthus leaf' mouldings. Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
