A large, mid 19th century French Napoleon III period cast iron crucifix, the cross of made of rough logs decorated with olive tree branches, a wreath of roses hangs from nails, the plinth standing on a bed of reeds. Provenance: a deconsecrated chapel in Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1860.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age and outdoor use.
