A pair of early 20th century French Louis XIV style ‘Girandole’ wall lights, the finely cast and gilt brass Baroque style frames decorated with 'Mascherone' and with fretted foliate motifs, each girandole fitted with its original, shaped and bevelled mirrors. Each Girandole fitted with three sconces originally for candle light, later electrified. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition, the original mirror plates nicely aged. Rewired to Australian safety standards.
