A French Provincial Armchair

An early 20th century French provincial, solid oak ladderback armchair, the seat fitted with woven rush. Decorated with bas-relief carved seashell and foliate motifs, typical of the provincial Louis XV style from the area of Southern France, circa 1930. 

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Width 53 cm, depth 41 cm, height of seat 44 cm, height of backrest 91 cm.
