A comfortable and light-weight, early 20th century French provincial 'fauteuil' solid oak ladderback armchair decorated with bas-relief carved seashell motifs, the broad seat fitted with woven rush. A typical provincial Louis XV style armchair from the area of Southern France, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Width 61 cm, depth 50 cm, height of seat 44 cm, height of backrest 98 cm.
