A rare set of French Art Nouveau period majolica plates comprising six plates and two platters (one on a stand), the raised decorations glazed in natural colours depicting stylised fern fronds, hyacinths and thistle flowers within a border of ancient Greek key lwork, on a green background. Area of Choisy-le-Roy, Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.
Condition report: In good and original condition showing suitable age.
