A fine, mid 19th century French Napoleon III period gilt bronze ‘cage’ Salon Chandelier of eight lights, decorated with several tiers of cut-crystal pendants, raindrop crystals ‘rosette’ crystals and a central crystal 'Poignard' finial. Of wonderful proportions and fitted with the original crystal ball under the chandelier. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 50 cm, height 82 cm. height including chain and ceiling cup 125 cm. On request, our shop is able to supply any length of extra chain.
