An early 20th century French Provincial carved solid oak 'Confiturier' cupboard, fitted with an open bookshelf above a shallow drawer and a single door cupboard, (internally fitted with a shelf). Finely decorated with haut relief carved foliate and floral motifs, this sort of 'Confiturier' cupboard was originally used to store a family's preserves: jams, pickles and patés. Area of Normandy, circa 1930.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
