A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style, Limoges porcelain and gilt brass table lamps, originally used as oil lamps and later electrified, the baluster uprights are decorated with hand-painted Grecian key patterns and with Classical medallions in tones of ivory and coral red, with some blue highlights. Retaining the original burner tops with adjustment taps. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Price is for the pair and it includes lampshades. Please enquire if you'd like the lamps without the lampshades.

Condition report: In good and original condition showing slight wear in keeping with age and use. No chips or cracks. Rewired to Australian safety standards, using gold silk electrical cords with cord-switches.

Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holder 41cm, diameter at waist 13 cm.
