An 18th century French Regence period, solid oak "Tabouret de Chantre" (a choir stool), the shaped and moulded top above four square-section chamfered legs joined by rails, retaining its original kneeling platform. The oak is nicely burnished and has a luminous patina. Area of Normandy, circa 1720.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
