A 19th century French Provincial, long and narrow, well-burnished solid oak hall/serving table of elegant country style. The front rail is fitted with a shallow drawer retaining its original turned knob, standing on baluster-turned legs supporting a sturdy shelf. The hall table's surfaces are well-burnished with and with a nicely worn finish. An old butterfly-joint repair adds character to the top. Area of Normandy, circa 1840.
