A large proportioned ,19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style, solid walnut and upholstered 'Fauteuil Cabriolet' armchair designed with a tall backrest and a broad seat, the seat and the backrest retaining the original tapestries specifically made for this very comfortable armchair. Area of Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In excellent, as found condition. The upholstery has now been professionally steam cleaned.

Dimensions: Width 72 cm, depth 54 cm, height of back rest 116 cm, height of seat 44 cm.
