A French Art Deco period, 'Maison Bagues' design, painted wrought iron and crystal Standard light, the top of the light fitted with twelve lights, six external with candle-sleeves, six internal and fitted inside 'cups'. The wrought iron light is interspersed with crystal drops that are arranged into flower-shapes - a central 'rosette' crystal surrounded by 'petal' crystals. Please note that the six internal lights in the 'cups' shine through slots , which are covered with threaded crystal beads. Standing on a well-wrought and tall wrought iron scrollwork stand decorated with Art Deco geometric motifs. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
Condition report: In good, as found condition, retaining the original painted finish. Requiring rewiring to Australian safety standards. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
