An early 19th century French Louis XV style solid walnut 'Buffet Deux-Corps' of fine quality and of Classic proportions, decorated with haut relief carved 'rosettes', stylised wheat sheaf and with fan patterns. Retaining the original and bronze-like walnut patination. Please note the harmonious proportions of this piece. The four doors open up completely, including the central door-transoms, making this piece possibly suited as a TV/ cabinet or a bar cabinet. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1800.
