A 19th century French riveted copper preserving pan fitted with its original, riveted cast bronze handles. Please note the elegant casting of the handles, a pattern attributed to Maison Gaillard's workshop - one of the finest makers of French copper cookware. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

This item is currently on display at Ruby Goose Foods, 40 High Street, Trentham, Vic.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age and use.
