A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XI style gilt bronze 'Baluster' chandelier of seven lights, of a suitable size for a bedroom. This chandelier is decorated with shaped crystal pendants with chains of crystal beads of a particularly luminous quality. Each light retains its original crystal drip-tray. Please note the fine quality of the cast, chased and gilt metal work of the arms. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 60 cm, height 70 cm plus chain. Current overall height 100 cm. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling for this light and our workshop can do this sympathetically.
