An early 18th century French Regence period carved solid stone basin in the form of a heart-shaped conch, the original drainage hole at the bottom of the basin. The stone has a rich patina of lichens and moss. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris) circa 1720.
Condition report: In good and original condition, showing surface lichens, moss and wear in keeping with its age and outdoor use.
Dimensions: 100 x 80 cm, height 38 cm.
