An elegant 19th century French glazed Barbotine Majolica asparagus drainer and separate platter, wonderfully decorated with haut-relief and painted asparagus on a background of stylised foliate motifs. The undersides stamped with "Longchamp, Terre de Fer". Area of Eastern France, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight surface wear in keeping with its age and use.

Dimensions: 37 x 27 cm, height 13 cm.
