A 19th century Napoleon III period, Louis XV style gilt mantle mirror, the water-gilded frame decorated with foliate trellises and with stylised foliate and Rocaille motifs, the plinth with large foliate corbels. The elegantly shaped crest decorated with a large Rocaille Cartouche. Fitted with the original shaped and bevelled mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age. Requiring cleaning and small touch ups.
