A Pair of Floral Candelabra

A pair of mid 19th century French Napoleon III period gilt bronze three light candelabra of wonderful personality. Each candelabrum is in the shape of a Classic tripod plinth sprouting a plant with leaves and flowers. The fire-gilt finish has nicely faded over time, retaining a warm glow in the patina. Originally used with candles, this pair of candelabra have been adapted for electricity. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
This piece is currently able to be viewed at Michelle Kindness Design, 21A Beatty Ave, Armadale VIC.
Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with age. Rewired to Australian safety standards using bronze silk electrical cords with cord switches.
