A pair of ‘Athenian’ Table Lamps

A pair of French Empire style turned and patinated tole-work Classical 'Athenian' urns, made into table lamps, the baluster shaped urns fitted with lions' heads handles and standing on circular plinths. The metal surfaces are nicely burnished and retain a bronze-like patina. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
Please note: these lamps are shown here fitted with Coco Chanel style lampshades, bespoke-made by our workshop. These shades are included in the price.
Condition report: In good and original condition, fully wired to Australian safety standards using bronze silk electrical cords with a cord-switches.
Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holders 37 cm.
