A pair of 19th century French Directoire style, haut-relief carved and painted Bergere armchairs of Neoclassical proportions, standing on elegantly turned 'Jacob' feet. Designed with elegantly sweeping arms and splayed back-rests, the shaped seats are fitted with separate cushions for extra comfort. Please note the elegance of the curves of the back-rests. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition.
