An elegant and simple early 19th century, French Louis Philippe period 'Gueridon' salon table, the turned top and the middle (rotating) shelf with both raised edges, standing on a tripod plinth. This period of French furniture design furniture is known for its pared-down simplicity and its Neoclassical designs. Louis Philippe period, area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1830.
Condition report: In excellent and unrestored condition. The walnut timbers nicely faded over time. Requiring small repairs, a wax and buff.
