A 19th century French Napoleon III period, ebonised pearwood and gilt brass-mounted 'portico' mantle clock decorated in the shape of a Classical temple with four pilasters, the pediment and plinth decorated with gadrooned mouldings, retaining its original enamelled face with Roman numerals, the original hour and minutes hands, pendulum and wind-up key. Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in good, unrestored condition. A small repairable chip on the enamelled face. The mechanism is in good working order. It will require servicing.
