An elegant French Louis XVI style finely carved and painted and upholstered bed, comprising bed head, footer and side rails. This bed will take a standard King size mattress (which is 183 cm wide). The long side rails may need to be lengthened (depending on the make of the mattress), and if required, our workshop can sympathetically extend these. Please note the excellent quality, Neoclassical haut-relief decorations of the bed, and the footer's two elegant pilasters. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age. The fabric is probably usable after a steam clean.

Dimensions: Overall width 190 cm, overall length 216 cm, eight of header 124 cm, of footer 78 cm.
