"Lady with Hounds"

A large and very fine French Art Deco period sculpture in the manner of Chiparus (Demétre Haralamb Chiparus, 1886–1947), depicting a lady and her hounds, standing on its original, inlaid marble plinth. A signature at the base of the lady's dress. Please note the high quality of the cast, chased, gilt and patinated metal work. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing very slight wear in keeping with its age.

Dimensions: 85 x 18 cm, height 53 cm.
