An early 20th century French Provincial, baluster-turned, carved and chalky off-white painted timber lamp of whimsical design, fitted with a pleated silk lampshade. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age. The lampshade worn on the outer edges. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk cord and a cord-switch.

Dimensions: Overall height inc shade 51 cm, diameter 31 cm.
