A French Louis XVI style carved Fauteuil armchair frame, the medallion back with ogee-moulded edges above a shaped seat and sweeping arm-rests, standing on Neoclassical, tapering and fluted legs. Please note the Classical proportions and the masculine character of this armchair. Paris, circa 1930.
