An elegant 19th century French Louis XIV style finely carved and turned walnut banquette, the baluster-turned legs joined by a shaped 'H' stretcher. Retaining its original patina, nicely burnished and faded. Upholstered in natural chamois, edged by bronze studs. Area of Paris, circa 1870. 

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age.
