A Parisian copper and brass lantern, retaining its typical ‘chimney’ top and the cast bronze bracket below. This lantern can be ceiling-hung by its chimney top or, with some added costs, to be wall-hung with the use of a wall bracket (which we can supply). It can also be made to stand on a lamp post, or a gate post. Our workshop can fit this lanterns with clear or frosted glass, or Plexiglas. Area of Paris, circa 1950.
Condition report: In good and original condition. Fully electrified to Australian safety standards.
Dimensions: 36.5 x 36.5 cm, overall height 72 cm. We set these lanterns with a drop of circa 140 cm, but we can on request provide more or less chain to suit our clients.
