A 19th century French Gothic style faceted lantern, decorated with finely wrought, fretted and riveted iron scrolls and with leadlight glass panels. The pediment is decorated with large wrought iron scrolls. Originally fitted as a gas light, later electrified. Area of Rouen, Normandy, circa 1880. 

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards.

Dimensions: 38 x 38 cm, height 65 cm + chain.
