A French Louis XVI Bed

An early 20th century French Louis XVI style finely carved and painted, upholstered bed, the header and footer with curved top rails decorated with haut-relief carved paterae and fluted pilasters surmounted by finials. This bed will, with some adjustments, be able to fit a standard Australian Queen size mattress (152 x 203 cm). Please ask our shop for details on this. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
This bed is currently undergoing restorations and alterations to allow it to fit a Queen size mattress.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
