A French glazed majolica oyster-serving platter decorated with twelve white haut-relief scallops, sitting on a green woven basket pattern. The French tend to place twelve oysters, one in each scallop, and then a form a 'pyramid' of oysters above this bottom layer. France, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and worn condition, some small chips on edges.

Dimensions: Diameter 24 cm.
