A 19th century French cast iron umbrella and walking stick-stand of fine quality, the upright structure composed of symmetrically-opposed volutes and foliate motifs, and incorporating two female figures. The pediment with a laurel wreath. The drip-tray in the shape of a large conch shell. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
