An 18th century French “Cruche” jug, a green glazed majolica water vessel retaining its carrying handles, one of which is also a pouring spout. Note the amount of wear along a handle and the bottom of the jug, from scraping against a fountain wall. Area of Toulouse, South West France, circa 1780.
