A French Louis XV Double/ Queen Bed

A French Louis XV style double-bed comprising a carved beechwood bed head, a ‘Corbeille’ footer and the original, carved beechwood side rails. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
The width of this bed allows for a standard Australian double-bed size mattress, but please note that the side rails can be sympathetically lengthened, so as to accommodate a Queen-size mattress on this bed. You're welcome to ask our shop for details on how this can be achieved.
Condition report: In very good, unrestored condition, requiring re-covering.
Dimensions: Exterior width 149 cm, height of bed head 123 cm, footer 70 cm. Internal width 140 cm, 195cm in length including footer.
