An early 19th century French Louis XIV style solid oak Refectory table, the top of good thickness, standing on two X-shaped 'X' uprights, and joined by a stretcher with pegged ends. The top is bolted to the base, and the bolts are presently taped to the base. This table has a unique character, and has very well-burnished oak timbers. Area of Normandy, circa 1830.
