An elegant set of six 19th century French Louis XV style finely carved beechwood dining chairs, shaped and finely decorated with haut-relief flower and foliate motifs and raised mouldings, the backs and seats fitted with the original hand-woven cane. The undersides of the chairs with the maker's mark, "A. Langelet". Area of Paris, circa 1880.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. Small repairs required to the woven rattan.
