A large and elegant pair of Chinese-Republic period "Famille Verte" floor-standing vases, the Classic baluster-shaped bodies with scalloped rims, shaped and gilt handles, and decorated with hand-painted mountain landscapes. Provenance: the Belgian embassy in Paris. China, circa 1940.
