An 18th Century French Oak Bookcase

A late 18th century French two-door oak armoire-bookcase of excellent proportions, the two carved doors fitted with wire mesh, retaining an excellent, rich oak patination. Retaining the internal, adjustable shelves. Note the crisp quality of the haut-relief and of the bas-relief carved decorations. Area of Normandy, circa 1780.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
