A 19th century French Louis XV style majolica soup tureen, the shaped body and lid decorated with whimsical motifs including flowers, foliate patterns, insects and birds. The underside is stamped with the 'Longwy' hallmarks. Area of North-East France, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing suitable age.
