An early 20th century French Louis XVI style carved mahogany, ebony and boxwood inlaid and gilt brass-mounted desk armchair, designed with an elegantly curved backrest and uprights in a Neoclassical design. Fitted with finely a woven rattan seat and back. Lightweight and very comfortable to sit in. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. Some repairable damage to the woven cane.
