A French 'Corbeille' Queen Size Bed
A fine, early 20th century French Louis XV style carved and painted Queen size bed, comprising a Corbeille bed head, a 'Corbeille' footer and shaped side rails. Note the excellent quality of the carved floral decorations. Area of Paris, circa 1930. Please note: a Queen-size mattress is about 203 x 152 cm. We can have a mattress made by a Melbourne manufacturer (at the same cost of a normal, quality mattress) to fir this bed exactly. This mattress will fit Queen-size fitted sheets.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
