A pair of 19th century French Provincial wrought 'chenet' fire dogs showing the hand-worked surfaces which are well-patinated by time and wear. Note the spit-holders on the uprights of the firedogs. These dogs come with a (later) fire basket.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
