A large French Louis XIII style finely carved walnut Fauteuil, the legs bobbin-turned and joined by an 'H' stretcher, with a high 'camel' back and elegantly sweeping arms. Of good proportions and very comfortable to sit on. The seat tall enough to be used as a desk armchair. Newly-upholstered, studded and covered in Italian burgundy-coloured 'glazed' linen fabric (imported by 'Boyac' in Melbourne). Click here and on here to to view this Fauteuil from different angles.
