A late 17th century French Louis XIV period solid walnut coffer of good proportions, and with an excellent bronze-like patina. Retaining the period wrought iron strap hinges, escutcheon and internal lock.

Condition report: In very good and original condition. The top well-worn and with some old, minor repairs.

Dimensions: 130 x 62 cm, height 65 cm.
