An Italian Renaissance style composite stone rendition of Sandro Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus", the figure of Venus standing in a shell, above the original Renaissance-style plinth. Condition report: In good and unrestored condition. The statue has been painted with several old layers of paint. On arrival in Melbourne we plan to remove some, or most of these. (This statue has now been stripped of most of its paint. Old photo showing).

Dimensions: Height of Venus 90 cm, overall with plinth 143 cm.
