A Model of a Fokker Trimotor

A large hand-made scale model of a Fokker F.VII Trimotor, a passenger and transport aeroplane built in the 1920s and used in Europe and in the American Continent. This was the type of plane used by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith who, in 1928 aboard the "Southern Cross" flew across the Pacific from the USA to Australia, and across the Tasman Sea from Australia to New Zealand.
