A Majolica Fruit Bowl

An early 20th century French white majolica centre-table decoration in the shape of a circular 'basket' bowl filled with a pile of fruit including pears, bananas, apples and a large melon. Click here to view another photo of this fruit bowl. This item is available for sale, but is presently in “Casa Adagio”, our Daylesford accommodation house. It may take a while to get things out of this house, the time span depending on whether Miguel has a similar replacement piece to put there, and whether there are guests in the house at the time of the request.

Condition report: In good and unrestored condition. Please note that there is an old breakage to one of the leaves (as can be seen in the photo under the 'banana').
